I hope your 2015 has started out well. Please see the announcement below of an upcoming Florida Stormwater Association (FSA) Level 1 Stormwater Operator Certification training opportunity to be held here at the South Florida Water Management District in West Palm Beach (Feb 24th and 25th). The following is an excerpt from the FSA link below:
“Why Should You Attend? Successful completion of Level 1 training results in:
- Level 1 Stormwater Operator Certification from FSA
- Eligible for 6 Parallel CECs for Certified Floodplain Managers
- Fulfillment of FDEP's training requirements of your MS4 permit for appropriate stormwater management personnel in:
o Erosion and Sediment Control
o IDDE
o Spill Prevention and Remediation
o Good Housekeeping Practices
o High Risk Facilities”
