The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will present a training webinar entitled “Field and Laboratory Quality Assurance Training (NNC Audits)”, on Thursday, April 9, 2015, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This webinar is being presented for stakeholders who are unable to attend this previously scheduled training event at any of the Department District Office locations.

This training webinar about field and laboratory audit topics is for both Department staff and interested stakeholders in the public and private environmental sampling and laboratory community. This training provides an introduction to how Department auditors conduct certain types of audits of sampling and analytical procedures used to generate environmental data used by the Department. Instructors will use the example of surface water sample data audited for monitoring or compliance associated with numeric nutrient criteria (NNC) to illustrate audit concepts and data usability requirements. Although examples of records for NNC anaytical data will be discussed, the topics presented will generally apply to other analytes, sample matrices and Department programs as well.
